What's great and unique about Royal Crown is that they serve heros and other Italian specialties which are as good as the best pork stores in a a sit down table setup. I don't know of any other place that has done it this way and it's really great! Everything is nice from the perfect hot and cold heros to the completely classic macaroni salad, all great stuff! I've been a customer at their original location on 14th Ave in Brooklyn for years and have always loved their amazing breads, rainbow cookies, pignoli and the best lobster tails in NY! Looking forward to trying their pizza. They should offer their amazing semolina as a hero option the way you can get them at Pissillo on Fulton Street in Manhattan.

Best Italian bakery in New York by far!! Get all of your baked goods and sit down for a meal. Food is priced fair and the portions are huge. They have a seasonal lemonade ice drink that's to die for and their sandwiches (meatball and chicken parm) are absolutely mouth watering.

Royal crown has been a neighborhood staple for as long as I can remember. Now that I no longer live in state, it is always one of my first stops when I'm back on the island. The best bread and the only coffee I can drink black. Their food is always fresh and their new dining room added lots of seating!

Consistently great food. Everything I've tried was great. Especially love the chocolate and prosciutto breads. Some of the desserts are a bit too sweet for me but still delicious.

The food here is amazing. Everything is really top notch. Sandwiches, pastas, and of course baked goods including breads, bagels, pastries and cookies are all the best. One of my favorite places on Staten Island.

Note: I haven't been a while. But have been several times. Fam Fave! Just do it! Don't ask twice. Do not stop. Do not collect $200. Just hightail it over there. Everything is great. Food = Great!! Cappuccinos, breakfast sandwiches, hot and cold heroes, personal round pizza, salads, and of course...drumroll, please...the PASTRIES...are all 5 star great! Service = It's an Island classic! Pastry Patience is a virtue. Good things come to those who wait. Ambiance = Because it's an Island fave, go early or off times. It can get very busy. Small, tight inside dining. Outside patio seats. (As of the last we visited RCB.) Tip = Be sure to leave with a loaf and a few pastries for later. No Crown regrets!

Royal Crown. What can you say about it? Other than it is an institution. It's a great place for first dates. It's also a good place for your morning cappuccino and croissant fix. It has one of the nicest bakery windows in the city. Their customer service is a master class on New York City customer service - no nonsense and super efficient. They are my go to example of New York City customer service - lightning fast, 17-year-olds who get you in and out happily. I love it here. This is one of my favorite places in the city.

One of my favorite places on Staten Island and definitely a classic * Got myself a chicken mozzarella sandwich with grilled peppers and it was so good. Definitely huge on portion size but it's perfect for a next meal for the next day * Calamari: you MUST get this, so good and always the best * Pasta: I've had many of their different pasta dishes and you could never go wrong. They're HUGE on portions as well * the people were so nice, always coming by to make sure our meal was good and they did not rush us at all when we finished eating and was still chatting. * my tips: go during a weekday preferably during lunch if you want seats. It definitely gets busy would I go again? yessssss
